Brand-new SDX series air springs and shock absorber-specific crimping machine for auto parts

The SDX-110Z split-type (dual-speed single-bevel model) is a crimping machine that incorporates composite cylinder technology with independently owned intellectual property rights. This technology overcomes the drawbacks of conventional crimping machines that rely on multiple auxiliary small cylinders—namely, complex structural designs, inability to achieve independent operation of each system due to numerous oil-line connections, short service life of sealing rings, and frequent oil leaks. The composite cylinder technology enables the crimping head, hydraulic system, and electrical control box—the three major systems—to operate independently from one another, and also facilitates the easy separation of these systems for return to the factory, where they can enjoy long-term warranties.

Features:

(1) During the crimping process, the mold base drives the crimping die to perform only radial movement, with no axial movement. This allows for precise control of the crimping position when crimping hose assemblies. Once installed, the positioning device works in conjunction with both automatic and semi-automatic operating modes, making it particularly suitable for large-scale crimping operations.

(2) The die pressing seat—i.e., the die seat’s operating mechanism—adopts a guided sliding structure to compensate for the fatigue-induced deformation of the support springs within the die seat over prolonged use, thereby preventing uneven spacing between dies and eliminating the need for frequent replacement or adjustment of the springs.

(3) Since the mold base is equipped with two inclined surfaces of different slopes, during the mold’s opening and closing operation, it achieves two distinct speeds—fast and slow. This not only increases the clamping force during the pressing process but also enhances the pressing speed and expands the mold’s opening and closing stroke.

(4) The mold is equipped with a T-slot structure, and the mold positioning has been upgraded to a long-life spring-loaded ball mechanism. This not only ensures reliable operation but also allows the operator to first insert the hose assembly connector to be crimped into the mold before proceeding with the crimping process, thereby meeting the requirements for crimping extra-large, specially shaped elbows and non-standard connectors.

(5) In terms of clamping dimension control, the principle of displacement control is utilized, and a graduated adjuster is employed to precisely regulate the clamping dimensions. This allows the clamping dimensions to be directly correlated with the scale readings indicated by the graduated adjuster, achieving an accuracy of 0.01 mm.

(6) The SDX-110 crimping machine incorporates imported insert-type hydraulically controlled check valves and relief valves in its hydraulic system, and the pump flow rate and motor power have been increased. As a result, the crimping speed of the machine has been significantly boosted. The electrical control section is equipped with automatic or semi-automatic crimping functions, fully meeting the extensive needs of the automotive parts and hydraulic industries.
