The SDX-130 (dual-speed single-bevel model) crimping machine is a member of the SDX series, featuring a brand-new, unique composite cylinder technology with independent intellectual property rights—technology that seamlessly integrates with international trends.
This model is a large-caliber, ultra-large-opening, and ultra-wide-application crimping machine meticulously designed through our company’s extensive and long-term production experience, coupled with the careful consideration of quality feedback received from a broad spectrum of users. It features a mold base that boasts an exceptionally wide speed ratio—allowing for both fast and slow speeds during the entire 50-millimeter expansion and contraction cycle. This design significantly extends the slow-speed segment of the entire contraction stroke, thereby increasing the effective force-bearing (i.e., crimping) section and enabling a broader range of crimping size control. Moreover, the mold base adopts a basin-shaped contact configuration with the front cover, resulting in minimal frictional resistance. This makes it a powerful and highly efficient crimping machine. Throughout the entire manufacturing process, we have not only employed advanced digital machining technologies but also utilized high-quality alloy steel materials combined with a unique heat treatment process, pushing beyond the conventional limits of wear resistance and load-bearing capacity typically achieved by domestically produced alloy steels after heat treatment. Only by meeting these comprehensive conditions and achieving breakthroughs in heat treatment technology can we design and manufacture this first-class series of crimping machines that simultaneously enhance crimping force and ensure exceptional service life.
Features of this model: (1) The mold remains stationary front and back, employing planar extrusion. As a result, after crimping, it is less likely to develop taper—commonly referred to as "large end, small end." (2) The mold base operates using a guided sliding structure that compensates for the deformation of the support springs caused by long-term fatigue, thereby eliminating the need for frequent readjustment due to uneven spacing between adjacent crimping dies. Consequently, after crimping, the lines remain uniform and do not become elliptical. (3) Since the mold base’s linked crimping dies undergo only radial expansion and contraction without axial movement, it becomes easier to precisely control the crimping position during product crimping. (4) In terms of crimping dimension control, the displacement control principle is employed, with an imported scale-adjusting dial used to precisely regulate the crimping dimensions. This allows the scale values indicated on the dial to correspond exactly to the actual crimping dimensions, achieving an accuracy of up to 0.01 mm. The crimping control section is equipped with a selectable manual or automatic operating mode. (5) The main unit and body adopt a split design, with a lower center height for the locking mechanism, making it particularly suitable for on-site mobile crimping operations—ideal for crimping special products such as automotive shock-absorbing airbags, large-flange components, and large-diameter oil pipelines. (6) Mold changes are convenient and straightforward.
