The SSX-95 (dual-speed, dual-slope model) is a crimping machine that incorporates composite cylinder technology with independently owned intellectual property rights. It overcomes the shortcomings of conventional crimping machines that rely on multiple auxiliary small cylinders—namely, complex structural designs, inability to achieve independent operation of various systems due to numerous oil lines, short service life of sealing rings, and frequent oil leaks. After adopting composite cylinder technology in the crimping head, the three major systems—crimping head, hydraulics, and electrical control—can operate independently. This allows the crimping head to be easily separated from the hydraulic system and electrical control unit, enabling it to be returned to the factory for long-term maintenance services.
This machine features the following characteristics: (1) The locking mechanism is designed such that each mold holder clamp unit has two differently inclined surfaces on either side. As the piston’s inclined surface within the cylinder moves, it works in conjunction with the inclined surface of the cylinder’s front stop ring to compress the two inclined surfaces on each mold holder clamp unit simultaneously and uniformly. This ensures that the outer sleeve of the crimped connector is evenly compressed and contracted under double the crimping force. (2) Since each mold holder clamp unit has two differently inclined surfaces on both sides, the mold holder can contract toward the axis at two different speeds—first rapidly and then more slowly—during the contraction process. This allows the machine to deliver both exceptionally strong crimping force and a faster crimping speed, as well as a wider range of contraction and expansion during product crimping. (3) The cylinder is equipped with imported polyurethane sealing rings and ST-type G-ring seals, which can withstand high pressures and have an extended service life. Key hydraulic system components are also sourced from international suppliers. (4) In terms of the electrical control system, the control circuit utilizes integrated circuits, making circuit maintenance and component replacement convenient and straightforward. (5) For precise control of the crimping dimensions, the displacement control principle is employed, using a graduated scale regulator to adjust and monitor the crimping size. This enables accurate control of the processed product dimensions, with a precision of up to 0.02 millimeters, as indicated by the scale markings on the regulator. (6) Mold installation and positioning utilize a top-pin-style operating structure, which is reliable and easy to use.
