The SX-100 (double-bevel model) crimping machine—the SX series comprises two models in total—is a large-caliber, ultra-high-force machine designed for crimping large-diameter, ultra-high-pressure hose assemblies. The locking mechanism features an eight-petal double-bevel die holder structure, and the cylinder system operates on the principle of simultaneous advancement and retraction of primary and auxiliary cylinders. Throughout the entire manufacturing process, not only digital machining technology is employed, but also high-quality alloy steel materials combined with a unique heat treatment process. Moreover, this machine has broken through the dual limits of wear resistance and load-bearing capacity inherent in domestically produced alloy steel materials after heat treatment.
Its features are as follows: (1) Each mold base is machined with double-sided bevels. When the piston inside the main oil cylinder moves, the piston and the main oil cylinder cap jointly press against the two inclined surfaces of each unit on the mold base, ensuring that both inclined surfaces of each unit are uniformly compressed toward the center simultaneously. Under the combined action of the piston’s inclined surface and the oil cylinder cap’s inclined surface, the mold base generates twice the amount of shrinkage force. (2) Since the locking mechanism of this model shares the load between the two inclined surfaces of the mold base, it is less prone to wear. Even if there is slight wear on the two inclined surfaces, the taper of the clamping process will not increase. Moreover, due to the relatively longer length of the mold base in this model, this design effectively compensates for any inherent taper that might occur during clamping. (3) For mold installation and replacement, a mold gun is used to quickly replace eight molds at once, making the process convenient and efficient. (4) The four auxiliary oil cylinders are designed as external units and connected via threaded joints. This not only makes it extremely easy to replace seals but also reduces system pressure during retraction, thereby extending the service life of the system. (5) In terms of clamping dimension control, the displacement control principle is employed, using an imported scale-adjusting dial to precisely regulate the clamping dimensions. Thus, the scale values indicated by the adjusting dial correspond exactly to the actual clamping dimensions, achieving an accuracy of 0.01 mm. The clamping control section is equipped with either manual or automatic operation modes for user selection. (6) The main machine body adopts a cabinet-style design, and the central height of the locking mechanism is optimally suited for clamping large-, medium-, and small-sized hose assemblies, making it ideal for clamping heavy-duty oil pipes with large diameters.
