The FX-140 (composite bevel-type) crimping machine is a member of the FX series, featuring a brand-new, unique composite cylinder and composite bevel technology with independent intellectual property rights, and embodies the latest international trends.
This model is a large-caliber, ultra-large-opening, and ultra-wide-application crimping machine meticulously designed through our company’s extensive and long-term production experience, coupled with comprehensive feedback on quality information gathered from a wide range of users. It features a mold base with an exceptionally high speed ratio—allowing for two distinct speeds during the entire 50-millimeter contraction and expansion cycle. This design significantly extends the slow-speed segment of the entire contraction stroke, thereby increasing the effective force-bearing (i.e., crimping) segment and enabling a broader range of crimping size control. Moreover, the mold base adopts a basin-shaped contact with the front cover, resulting in minimal frictional resistance. This makes it a powerful and highly efficient crimping machine. Throughout the entire manufacturing process, we have not only employed advanced digital machining technologies but also utilized premium alloy steel materials combined with a unique heat treatment process, pushing beyond the conventional limits of wear resistance and load-bearing capacity inherent in domestically produced alloy steels after heat treatment. Only by integrating these comprehensive conditions and achieving breakthroughs in heat treatment technology can we design and manufacture this first-class series of crimping machines that simultaneously enhance crimping force and ensure exceptional service life.
When operating this model, the following features are also available: (1) The large-caliber and oversized die installation adopts a rectangular-slot structure. During crimping, the hose assembly connector to be crimped can be inserted first, followed by the die itself, thus meeting the crimping requirements for large-diameter and specially shaped elbows. (2) The die holder employs a guided sliding mechanism, which effectively compensates for the deformation of the support springs caused by fatigue over long-term use, thereby eliminating the need for frequent readjustment due to uneven spacing between adjacent crimping dies. (3) The die holder’s linked crimping dies perform only a slight axial movement while simultaneously undergoing radial contraction and expansion, enabling quick and precise control over the crimping position when crimping hose assemblies. (4) In terms of crimping dimension control, the displacement control principle is utilized, with an imported scale-adjusting dial used to precisely regulate the crimping dimensions. This ensures that each scale reading on the dial corresponds exactly to the intended crimping dimension, achieving an accuracy of up to 0.01 mm. The crimping control section is equipped with either manual or automatic operation modes for user selection. (5) The main machine body features a cabinet-style design, and its locking mechanism’s central height is optimally suited for crimping large-, medium-, and small-sized hose assemblies, making it particularly well-suited for crimping large-flange and large-caliber oil pipelines. (6) Mold replacement is facilitated by a mold gun, allowing for the rapid, single-step replacement of eight dies at once, making mold changes faster and more convenient.
